Harlem Gets Rapid-Result Coronavirus Testing Site
The city added a new rapid coronavirus test site in Central Harlem this week, providing free tests with results within 24 hours.

HARLEM, NY — The city is expanding its rapid coronavirus testing program to nine new sites, including one in Central Harlem, officials announced Tuesday.
The Harlem site is at 2238 5th Avenue, inside the Central Harlem Department of Health building. Testing is free, and by appointment only, with signups available online.
Results are available within 24 hours, and often on the same day, according to Councilmember Mark Levine, who chairs the council's health committee.

A mobile COVID-19 test site is also in place through Friday at 2059 Lexington Avenue, at the corner of Lexington and 125th Street.
