Harlem Groper Arrested, Police Say

A man who attempted to grope a woman on a Harlem street will face criminal charges.

HARLEM, NY — A man who tried to shove his hands down a woman's pants on a Harlem street has been arrested, police told Patch.

Landon Washington, 32, will face charges of sex abuse and forcible touching, police told Patch. On Firday, July 21, Washington approached a 21-year-old woman on Hancock Place near Morningside Avenue and West 124th Street and attempted to grope her underneath her clothing, police said. The attempted sexual assault occurred at 6 a.m. just blocks away from Morningside Park.
