Harlem-Havana Cultural Exchange Announced for August
A cultural exchange between Harlem and Havana, Cuba was announced Friday.
HARLEM, NY — Longtime Harlem Congressman Charles Rangel and New York Lieutenant Gov. Kathy Hochul announced Friday the beginning of a cultural exchange between Harlem and the Cuban capitol of Havana.

The cultural exchange will first take on Harlem soil in August. During Harlem Week — August 15 to 21 — Cuban artists, chefs and entertainers will showcase their country's culture. In return, a cultural delegation from the United States will travel to Cuba in February.
