Harlem Man, 80, Missing, Police Say

HARLEM, NY — Police were looking Wednesday for an 80-year-old man from Harlem after he was reported missing, New York City Police Department officials said.

According to the NYPD, 80-year-old Lawrence Degannes was last seen at his home on Saint Nicholas Place on March 2, around 7 a.m.

Police said the missing man is approximately 5 feet and 6 inches tall, 150 pounds, with grey hair.

Degannes was last seen wearing black baseball cap, black pants, red sneakers, and a blue jacket, police said.

Police said anyone with information regarding Degannes can call the NYPD's Crime Stoppers Hotline at 1-800-577-TIPS (8477) or for Spanish, 1-888-57-PISTA (74782).
