Harlem Man Reported Missing, Police Say

HARLEM, NY — The NYPD is searching for a Harlem man who was reported missing Wednesday, police said.

Soumaila Konate, 50, was last seen early Wednesday morning leaving his apartment building. The man was spotted leaving the West 137th Street building around 5 a.m. that day, police said.

Konate is described as standing 5-foot-5 with a medium build, dark complexion, brown eyes, black hair and beard. He was last seen wearing blue pants, a black and red shirt, multi-colored sneakers and a gray hoodie, police said
