Harlem’s historic music scene has curated genres and genres of music and dances that have spread across the world transcending races and inspiring cultural changes. Over time, Harlem has dealt with many adversities with over powering effects of gentrification; Dissolving a lot of culture throughout Harlem streets, but, Harlem natives refuse to lose their voice.

Are you an aspiring artist? On October 25-28 join and empower the community on a walking tour of the Apollo theater. On this tour, you will experience video and sound presented at sites where history happened; Special attention will be paid to music and history of Harlem legends that started on from the famous Apollo theater stage it’s self.

The tour will also feature their very own “Amateur Night at the Apollo”. Participants will have the chance to go on the Apollo Theater stage and perform in the very spot we’re greats such as, Michael Jackson and James Brown and many others started their careers.
