Man, 59, Found Dead In Subway In Harlem

HARLEM, NY — A 59-year-old man was found dead Saturday on board a subway train in Harlem after police responded to a report of a "disorderly male," police said.

Police responded to the 911 call around 1:07 a.m. Saturday, on an uptown 3 train at the 148th Street subway station.

Officers who arrived found the man unconscious and unresponsive on the train, according to police. The officers and paramedics rendered aid, but pronounced the man dead at the scene.

The medical examiner had not identified a cause of death by Monday, and the man has not been identified. Police said an investigation is ongoing.
