Man Arrested for 2013 East Harlem Fatal Shooting: Police
This weekend police made an arrest in a three-year-old case where a man was shot to death in East Harlem.

EAST HARLEM, NY — A man has been arrested and charged in connection with a fatal 2013 East Harlem shooting.
Edwin Burgos has been charged with second-degree murder, manslaughter and criminal possession of a weapon, police told Patch. Burgos, 59, had been identified as the murder suspect in 2014 but evaded arrest for nearly two years.
On June 2, 2013, Burgos shot and killed Luciano Cajigas on the 400 block of East 105th Street, police said. Cajigas, 28 at the time of his death, suffered multiple gunshot wounds to the torso and was pronounced dead on arrival at Metropolitan Hospital. The two men were arguing before shots were fired, police said.
