Man Arrested For Fatal Shooting Outside Harlem Bodega: Police
An arrest has been made in a fatal January shooting that occurred after two men got into an argument outside of a Harlem bodega.
HARLEM, NY — A man is facing murder charges for a fatal shooting that occurred outside of a bodega in Harlem last month, police told Patch.
Hector Centeno, 24, has been charged with murder for the Jan. 25 shooting of Michael Riley, 22, police said. Riley was found outside the Adnader Inc bodega on the corner of Saint Nicholas Avenue and West 121st Street suffering from a gunshot wound to the head, police said.
At the time of Riley's shooting a worker at the bodega told The New York Daily News that Riley and the shooter had been in an argument that night. The man's killer left and came back, waiting outside of the store with a loaded gun, the News reported.

“It was a shock. He was too young,” Helel El Geler, the shop-worker, told the News. “I’m still shaking. I'm not going to be able to sleep tonight. I've never seen anything like this.”
Centeno is currently being held without bail and will appear in court on March 8, according to court records.
