Man Found Dead In Harlem Apartment, Police Say

The city medical examiner is investigating the 29-year-old man's cause of death, police said.

HARLEM, NY — The city is investigating the death of a man who's body was found Monday inside his Harlem apartment, police said.

Kelvin Romero, 29, was found dead inside his fourth-floor apartment on the corner of Eighth Avenue and West 133rd Street, police said. Officers arrived at the apartment on Monday afternoon around 3 p.m. to discover an unconscious and unresponsive Romero lying on a bed, police said.

EMS declared Romero dead at the scene, police said. The city medical examiner will investigate the man's cause of death.
