Man Hit By Subway In Manhattan, Several Trains Delayed, Officials Say

Several trains are severely delayed on Friday afternoon, according to the MTA.

HARLEM, NY — A man was hit by a downtown-bound C train in Harlem on Friday afternoon, New York City Police Department officials said.

According to the NYPD, the man was hit by the train at the 116th Street station near Frederick Douglass Boulevard at 2:02 p.m. Friday.

The power to the train was cut off shortly after, prompting delays to the line, as well as the A train, the B train, and the D train, which use the same track.

The NYPD said the man's condition is not public at this time. Police said no criminality is suspected.
