Man Slashed In Face In Random Harlem Attack, Police Say
A man was slashed in the face Tuesday night on West 125th Street.

HARLEM, NY — A man was randomly slashed Tuesday night on West 125th Street in Harlem, an NYPD spokeswoman told Patch.
The 26-year-old victim was standing outside 46 W. 125th St., located between Fifth Avenue and Malcolm X Boulevard, shortly after 11 p.m. Tuesday when an unknown man slashed him across the right side of his face, police told Patch. The victim told police that he did not know the attacker or what was used as a weapon, an NYPD spokeswoman said.
During questioning, the victim became uncooperative and refused to answer investigators' questions, an NYPD spokeswoman said.

The man was taken to Harlem Hospital for non life-threatening injuries, an NYPD spokeswoman told Patch.

Police were unable to gather any information about a possible suspect from the victim and have not made any arrests in relation to the slashing, an NYPD spokeswoman said.
