Man Wanted for Breaking Into Harlem Apartment by Climbing Through Window: Police

Police say the man broke into an apartment on Saint Nicholas Avenue near 140th Street but did not steal anything.

HARLEM, NY — Police are searching for a man they say broke into a Harlem apartment but left without stealing anything.

The man climbed a fire escape and crawled through the window of an apartment on Saint Nicholas Avenue near 140th Street on July 30, police told Patch. But then the man fled the apartment without stealing anything, police said.

Police describe the man — who was filmed by a security camera on the residential building — as bald, wearing a long-sleeved white shirt, black jeans and white sneakers. He is pictured above this article.
