Man Wearing Winter Hat Robs Harlem Bank, Police Say

The man got away with an undetermined amount of cash.

HARLEM, NY — The NYPD is searching for a man who donned a winter hat as a disguise while robbing a Harlem bank in the middle of the day, police told Patch.

The suspect, who has not been identified, entered a Chase bank located on West 125th Street and St. Nicholas Avenue around 1:20 p.m. Wednesday, police told patch. The man approached a bank teller and slid over a note demanding money, police said.

After the teller handed the man an undetermined amount of cash the man fled the bank in an unknown direction, police told Patch.

The suspect (pictured above) is described as a man in his 30s standing 5-foot-5 with a slim build, police said. He was wearing a green and white winter hat, a black jacket and blue jeans during the bank robbery, police told Patch.
