Missing Harlem Woman Found Safe

HARLEM, NY — A woman reported missing in Harlem last week has been found and is in safe condition, police told Patch.

Lydia Valez, 52, had been missing since April 18 before she was located on Monday, police said. Valez was last seen around 8 p.m. on April 18 at her Harlem residence on the 100 block of West 129th Street, police said.

It was not immediately clear where Valez was or what she was doing between the time she was reported missing and when she was found. Police could not confirm those details with Patch.
