Multi-Vehicle Car Crash in East Harlem Sends 2 to Hospital

EAST HARLEM, NY — Three people were injured, two sent to the hospital, in a Thursday morning car crash in East Harlem, fire department sources told Patch. The crash occurred around 6 a.m. on Madison Avenue and 118th Street, officials said.

Two people were taken to Harlem Hospital with minor injuries and one person was treated at the scene of the crash, officials said.

Three vehicles were involved in the crash, but officials do not yet know why the crash occurred. One of the cars ended up crashing into a nearby apartment building called the Madison Plaza. The crash did not cause any significant damage to the building.
