One Person Injured In East Harlem Fire, FDNY Says
A fire broke out Friday morning in the basement of a five-story building on East 116th Street.

EAST HARLEM, NY — One person was injured when a fire broke out in a five-story building Friday morning in East Harlem, an FDNY spokesman told Patch.
The fire started in the basement of 102 E. 116th St., located between Park and Lexington avenues, around 9:50 a.m., an FDNY spokesman told Patch. Sixty firefighters responded to the scene and put the fire under control by 10:30 a.m., the spokesman said.
The person who was injured was not immediately taken to a hospital, an FDNY spokesman told Patch.

Officials will investigate the cause of the fire, an FDNY spokesman said.
