Pedestrian Hit By Car, Seriously Injured In Harlem: FDNY

The pedestrian was walking on Frederick Douglass Boulevard and West 142nd Street when they were hit.

HARLEM, NY — A pedestrian was seriously injured after being hit while crossing a Harlem street Wednesday evening.

The unidentified pedestrian was walking in the intersection of Frederick Douglass Boulevard and West 142nd Street when they were hit by a car, an FDNY spokesman told Patch. The collision occurred around 5:20 p.m., an FDNY spokesman said.

The pedestrian was taken to Harlem Hospital suffering serious injuries, an FDNY spokesman said.
