Pedestrian Struck By Vehicle, Seriously Injured In Harlem
An FDNY spokesman could not confirm whether the driver stayed on the scene of the collision.

HARLEM, NY — One person was taken to the hospital with serious injuries after being struck by a vehicle in Harlem early Monday evening.
The person — who has not been identified — was walking near West 115th Street and Fifth Avenue at 4:50 p.m. when they were hit by a vehicle, an FDNY spokesman told Patch. The spokesman could not confirm the extent of the injuries suffered, but said the person was transported to Harlem Hospital with serious injuries.
The FDNY spokesman could not confirm whether the driver stayed on-scene or if the collision was a hit-and-run. A message left with the NYPD was not immediately returned.
