Stick Up Men Strike Twice In Harlem, Police Say

Three men are wanted for robbing two people within two days in Harlem, police said.

HARLEM, NY — The NYPD is trying to identify three men who committed two gunpoint robberies in Harlem, police said.

The suspects struck twice within two days last weekend, police said. Both robberies occurred within blocks of each other in Central Harlem, police told Patch.

The first robbery occurred shortly before 5 a.m. Saturday 4 a.m., police said. The three men approached an individual in front of a building on West 129th Street between Convent Avenue and St. Nicholas Terrace and demanded the person's money, police said. One of the men flashed a silver pistol, police said. The robbers took $200 in cash from the man and fled the scene without harming the victim.

The next day, around 6:15 a.m., the men robbed a parking lot attendant on West 127th Street near Morningside Avenue, police said. The men approached the attendant's booth and one of the robbers pointed a silver pistol at the man. The stick up men then went through the victim's pockets and bag, stealing a cellphone and wallet containing credit cards and $100 cash, police said.

Surveillance video of the second robbery was released by police. The three suspects can be seen rummaging around in the booth while keeping the pistol pointed at the victim. All three robbers are seen wearing purple coats, according to the police video.
