Teen's Shirtless Selfies on Stolen Phone Sent to Victim's Cloud: Police

A teen uploaded shirtless images of himself to the cloud after stealing a woman's phone Sunday in Harlem.

HARLEM, NY — A teen who stole a woman's phone Sunday in Harlem decided to add insult to injury when he uploaded shirtless photos of himself to her cloud account, police said.

The suspect asked the woman, 48, to borrow her phone around 12:30 on East 129th Street. The woman agreed to dial some numbers for him, but when she pulled out the phone the teenager snatched it from her hands and ran off, police said. Apparently he had some urgent selfies to take.

Four images, one of the suspect on the subway and three of him posing shirtless, were recovered from the victim's cloud account, police said. If the petty criminal thing doesn't work out maybe this kid has a future in modeling, or photography.
