Two Teenagers Shot On Harlem Block, Police Say

A 17-year-old and 16-year-old were taken to the hospital Tuesday night after suffering gunshot wounds.

HARLEM, NY - Two teenage boys were hospitalized Tuesday night after being shot on a Harlem block, an NYPD spokesman told Patch.

A 17-year-old boy was hit in the abdomen and a 16-year-old boy was grazed in the arm shortly after 7 p.m. Tuesday, an NYPD spokesman told Patch. The shooting occurred on West 129th Street between Fifth Avenue and Malcolm X Boulevard, police said.

Both teens were taken to an area hospital and are expected to survive their wounds, an NYPD spokesman told Patch. The gunshot victims were "highly uncooperative" with a police investigation into the shooting, the spokesman told Patch.
