VIDEO: Conan O'Brien Meets Harlem Residents to Kick Off Week-Long Residency at Apollo Theater

HARLEM, NY — To kick off a week-long residency at Harlem's Apollo Theater talk show host Conan O'Brien "got to know" his new neighbors.

The ginger-haired comedian filmed a video segment of him walking the streets of Harlem meeting neighborhood residents, interacting with street vendors and even getting his hair braided. One customer in the hair solan accurately described his new look, saying "you look ridiculous."

Despite a few awkward encounters, it seemed both Conan and neighborhood residents enjoyed themselves during the filming of the segment.
