WHDC Announces Special COVID-19 Impact Grantees (WHDC)

On June 1, 2020, West Harlem Development Corporation (WHDC) announced their intention to grant awards totaling $500,000 to Harlem-based nonprofit organizations located in Manhattan Community District 9 (MCD9). The process was expedited with all applications to be received by June 15, 2020. WHDC received 43 applications during the RFP period.

The Special COVID-19 Impact Grants range from $15,000 to $50,000 and assist in delivering priority services to residents of MCD9 to address the impact of COVID-19 within 120 days.

Today, WHDC fulfilled the promise as WHDC Board Chair, the Honorable Judge Milton Tingling announced the 18 grantees of the Special COVID-19 Impact Grants. The list of the 18 Special COVID-19 Impact Grant Awardees is available on HERE.
