HARLEM, NY — A 24-year-old woman was attacked in Harlem on Thursday morning, and police are still searching for the suspect, New York City Police Department officials said.
According to the NYPD, the 24-year-old was slashed several times in her left thumb while outside 2411 Frederick Douglass Blvd. near West 129th Street at 6:57 a.m.
Police say the suspect, described as a woman in her 40s wearing all black, fled the scene. No arrests have been made yet.

Medics took the woman to an area hospital in stable condition, and the investigation is underway.
