Woman Struck, Run Over in West Harlem Hit-And-Run: Police
A woman was hit by a black sedan trying to cross West 125th street and run over when the car fled the scene, police said.

WEST HARLEM, NY — Police are searching for a hit-and-run driver who hit a woman and then ran her over while trying to flee in West Harlem last weekend.
On Saturday, Sept. 17 around 6:20 a.m. the driver of a black sedan struck a woman trying to cross West 125 Street between Amsterdam and Morningside avenues in the middle of the block, police told Patch. The woman was knocked further into the road by the force of the collision, police said.
The driver then fled the scene, running over the woman's legs, police said.

The woman was transported to Mount Sinai St. Luke's hospital where she was treated for an abrasion to her head, a concussion and pain to her leg, ankle and side, police told Patch. The woman has been released from the hospital, police said.
