Noah Witke, Young NYC Actor, Dies After Falling From Harlem Building: Police

HARLEM, NY — A young actor died early Sunday morning after falling from the roof of his apartment building in West Harlem.

Noah Witke, 25, was found suffering from trauma to the head in front of his building on the 500 block of West 134th Street around 5:08 a.m., police told Patch. Witke was unconscious and unresponsive when first responders arrived, and was pronounced dead on the scene, police said.

The medical examiner's office is still investigating the cause of death and whether Witke was intoxicated at the time of the fall.

Many of Witke's friends and fellow actors took to social media to mourn his death.
