IBM is the best employer for diversity in the Hudson Valley, according to a new set of rankings released by Forbes on Tuesday. Another two local companies made the list, along with 26 corporations in New York City.
Forbes worked with research firm Statista to build the list, which ranked companies across the country. Statista surveyed 30,000 U.S. employers in August of last year, asking questions about diversity, gender, ethnicity, sexual orientation, age and disability, Forbes said.
Statista also looked at factors like the gender split of companies' management teams and boards.
