"A Tribute to Joey". There will be a New York Organ Donor Networking table at the blood drive in memory of our late town clerk, Joey Acocella, Jr. who passed away suddenly on August 8, 2011 while waiting for a kideny donation. We are seeking new organ donor members so others, like Joey, may have a better chance for survival.

Jennifer Lucas, our faithful blood drive volunteer and was also a very close friend of Joey will be in charge of this organ donor drive.
It was Joey who first introduced the NY Organ Donor's Networking Program into Harrison and we hope that all of our Harrison residents will consider becoming an organ donor so that others like Joey may be fortunate enough to survive and live out their lives to their fullest.
