The Harrison High School Playhouse Presents "Almost, Maine"
The HHS Playhouse's production of John Cariani's romantic comedy is set for Fri., April 17th at 7pm and Sat., April 18th at 1pm and 7pm.

The members of the Harrison High School Playhouse are proud to present the “real romantic comedy” Almost, Maine by John Cariani on Friday, April 17th at 7pm, and Saturday, April 18th at 1pm and 7pm in the Sirius Black Box Theatre at Harrison High School.
Almost, Maine is a whimsical play that begins in the present day, following the journeys of nine couples that find themselves falling in and out of love. Each couple’s story unfolds on the same night—under the Aurora Borealis in a fictional town called Almost, Maine. Some let go of a love that no longer exists, some fight for a love that they desire, and others literally fall to their knees as they realize their feelings for each other. After this night, life will never be the same for them.
This production is student-directed by Alexandria Ostroumoff, a senior who has been a dedicated member of the HHS Playhouse for three years. Alexandria chose the play because she wanted to give the Harrison community something positive to focus on: love and companionship. She has worked diligently to prepare her cast of twenty-six students and is ecstatic for them to perform. Additionally, Ms. Crystal Gonzalez and Ms. Amanda Urban, the club’s co-advisors, worked with a group of students to write original love monologues that will be performed between the scenes in the play.
