Harrison High School Students Make Prom Perfect for Others

HHS Volunteers Create a Personal Prom Shopping Day for Neighboring Students

Harrison High School students collected prom dresses, shoes, and accessories as part of a Prom Perfect initiative with Thorton High School in Mount Vernon. Organized by juniors Caroline Lauro and Allison Karantzis and senior Erica LaManna, the volunteers delivered the donated prom accoutrements to Thorton and neatly displayed the items for participants to peruse.

To begin the event, volunteers walked down the runway and modeled a few of the dresses that had been donated for the event. The Thorton students looked through, tried on, and took home the accessories and dresses that caught their fancy.
