Harrison Man Injured Two In I-684 Crash: Police
Two New York City men were trying to change a tire when a Harrison resident swerved into them in Bedford, police say.

BEDFORD, NY — The New York State Police are investigating a serious personal injury motor vehicle crash that occurred on Interstate 684 near exit 6 (Route 35) in the town of Bedford on April 12, 2018.
Initial investigation suggests that at 12:20 p.m., Zhi R. Ding, 71, of Queens, NY, utilized the median shoulder of the Interstate to change a failed tire on his 2009 Jeep Grand Cherokee with the help of his passenger, Xian Yansheng, 61, of Brooklyn.
Driving a Honda Civic, Mark Manzi, 33, of Harrison, NY, left the roadway then struck both Ding and the Jeep Grand Cherokee. The Grand Cherokee was then pushed into Yansheng.

Both Ding and Yansheng were transported to Westchester Medical Center. The injuries sustained by Ding are considered serious.
