Harrison Police Chief Retires While Suspended
Anthony Marraccini had been chief since 2010.

HARRISON, NY — Suspended Harrison Police Chief Anthony Marraccini retired Thursday, ending his three-week suspension by the Town Board. Lt. Michael Olsey is acting chief.
Marraccini, a 32-year veteran of the Harrison Police Department, was appointed chief in 2010. Marraccini was paid $185,000 plus a $12,000 stipend because the department had no captain, according to the Harrison Daily Voice.
The suspension was due to an internal departmental matter and not to a federal investigation in which Marriccini's construction business, Coastal Construction Associates, is involved, the Daily News reported.
