Harrison Public Library Foundation Raises $40,000 Toward $200,000 Goal
The project has already raised about $3.2 million for the renovation.

The Harrison Public Library Foundation, Inc., which is seeking donations to go toward the facility’s renovation project, has raised about $40,000 toward its goal of $200,000.
The group has launched a page on the crowdfunding website Razoo.com for the effort, and has eight donors so far with two more weeks to go.
Through previous efforts, according to Ross Halperin who wrote the introductory letter on the fundraising page, the project raised $3.2 million but additional money is needed.

“The good news is that we only need to raise $200,000 more to build the library facility that our community needs and deserves,” Halperin wrote. “We are now calling on the community to rally behind this cause in the ’bottom of the ninth’ so that we can truly make this once-in-a-generation project a smashing success.”
