HHS DECA Business Club Sends Four To Nationals

Harrison High School Business Club members advance to National in Nashville Tennessee in April

Congratulations to the 31 Harrison High School DECA Club members who competed at this year’s New York DECA competition in Rochester, New York. Harrison High School is proud to send four students – Matthew Griff, Grant Mueller, Adam Elijamal, and Akshat Sanghavi to Nationals on April 23-26th, 2016 in Nashville, Tennessee.

“Many of the competitions require a written exam as well as a live action role-play,” said Joe Santo, HHS Business teacher and club advisor. “Students are able to receive a top ten award on the individual parts of the competition. Those scores are compiled, and then students are also awarded an overall top 10 medal. Finally, students with the top three scores in their event qualify for Nationals.”
