HHS Inducts Twelve Into National Honor Society for Dance Arts
Harrison High School Recognizes Students For Achievements in Dance

Congratulations to the twelve new members who were recently inducted into the Harrison High School chapter of the National Honor Society for Dance Arts (NHSDA) for 2016. The National Honor Society for Dance Arts™ (NHSDA) is a program of the National Dance Education Organization, created to recognize outstanding artistic merit, leadership, and academic achievement in students studying dance.

The group was inducted at the conclusion of the HHS Annual Choreographers’’ Showcase where the students presented and performed original work. The Dance program also finished the year with a special workshop/master class with renowned choreographer and performer Robert Taylor Jr. A hip hop and commercial dancer who is also a faculty member of the Broadway Dance Center, he has been seen on Broadway in the musical Hairspray and on television of FOX’s So You Think You Can Dance.
