HHS Students Are Inducted Into National Honor Society
Harrison High School Inducts 96 Students into the Harrison Chapter of the National Honor Society
The Faculty Advisory Committee of the Harrison High School Chapter of the National Honor Society welcomed 96 new members on April 23, 2015. The National Honor Society’s purpose is to promote appropriate recognition for students who reflect outstanding accomplishments in the areas of scholarship, character, leadership and service. Harrison High School juniors and seniors may be selected into NHS with an ongoing, overall weighted grade point average of 90% or higher and show continued involvement in charitable volunteer service.
At the evening’s induction ceremony, juniors Ella Eisenger and Andrew Carton spoke about the importance of scholarship, Isabella Prado and Evan Burger discussed the attributes of character, Gina DiRusso and Amr El Azizi on leadership, and Mihoko Sakanaka and Dillon Bogart on service.
