Hutchinson River Parkway Lane and Shoulder Closures Coming Up in Harrison
The maintenance and construction work will last six days all told.

HARRISON, NY — Lane and shoulder closures are expected on the Hutchinson River Parkway across southern Westchester County. The work will begin Saturday and last through Thursday, state transportation officials announced. Crews will be performing maintenance and construction activities, weather permitting.
The villages of Pelham, Eastchester, and Rye Brook, towns of Scarsdale and Harrison, and cities of Mount Vernon and New Rochelle will be affected.
A shoulder closure is expected for the southbound portion of the Parkway on Saturday, April 8, between Exit 23 (Mamaroneck Avenue) and Exit 22 (Mamaroneck Road) from 6 a.m. to 1 p.m.

The right lane of the southbound Parkway between Exit 29 (North Ridge Street) and Exit 27 (Purchase Street/Route 120) is expected to close on Tuesday, April 11, and Wednesday, April 12 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Additionally, left lane closures are expected for the Parkway between Exit 10 (East Third Street) and Exit 30 (King Street), with northbound closures occurring on Wednesday, April 12 and southbound closures occurring on Thursday, April 13.

Expect delays and seek alternate routes where possible.
Use caution when traveling through the work zone area and pay particular attention to flaggers and all traffic control devices, including signs.
Remember, fines are doubled for speeding in a work zone. In accordance with the Work Zone Safety Act of 2005, convictions of two or more speeding violations in a work zone could result in the suspension of an individual’s driver license.
