Institute for Human Development Names Harrison Woman To Post

Lopane was most recently at the March of Dimes in White Plains where she served as Development Manager and Community Manager since 2010.

From WIHD: The Westchester Institute for Human Development (WIHD) has announced that Cindy Lopane has joined the organization as Director of Development and Community Engagement.

Lopane was most recently at the March of Dimes in White Plains where she served as Development Manager and Community Manager since 2010. She brings to WIHD wide ranging expertise that includes project management, marketing, fundraising, event planning and education advocacy. Among her many responsibilities at the March of Dimes, Lopane planned and executed with staff special fundraising events including March for Babies, Signature Chefs Auction/Gala and the Real Estate Honoree Breakfasts.

In her long career, Lopane has also held positions with Avon Products and Volvo Cars of North America. She currently is a consultant and education advocate for students and families with Loki Enterprises of Harrison.

Lopane holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Dominican College. A resident of Harrison, Lopane is actively involved in the community, having served as past President of the Special Education Parent Teacher Association (SEPTA) and past President of the Parent Teacher Council, both in the Harrison Central School District. She currently serves as President of the Harrison High School PTA and sits on the Board of the New York Raptors Special Hockey.
