Mayor Ron Belmont Lunches With Harrison High School Students
Harrison High School Senior Adam Murray Invites the Mayor to Join HHS Students at the Student Union

Mayor Belmont joined HHS students for lunch on October 27th at the newly renovated HHS Student Union after accepting an invitation from senior Adam Murray. Throughout his time as Town Mayor/Supervisor, Ron Belmont has hosted lunches with constituents in places all across Harrison.
Adam, who is a student in the FASE (Functional Academic Skills Education) program at HHS was captivated by Town Hall when he visited last March to see his art work on display during Harrison’s Youth Art Month. In his studies at HHS, Adam and his classmates were creating drawings recently of the flags of different countries as part of their art class. Adam contacted the Mayor’s office to see if his class could display their work at Town Hall. The Mayor called Adam back at school and arranged to alter his “lunch” schedule to enjoy a bite with Adam and his classmates.
“Adam admires the Mayor’s leadership and commitment to the community of Harrison and was honored that he took time out of his busy schedule to dine with the students of Harrison High School,” said Lenore Lore of the FASE program at HHS. “The students enjoyed fun conversations, taking photos with the Mayor, and eating homemade brownies. It was a special event for all in the Student Union, especially Adam.”
