New Postmaster For Purchase
The Purchase postal team serves a population of close to 7,000 and delivers more than 25,000 pieces of mail a day.

From USPS: On Friday, June 29, Keith Arace will follow a tradition of public service as she is sworn in as Postmaster of Purchase, NY. U.S. Postal Service Westchester District Manager Richard Conte is administering the oath of office to Postmaster Arace at a special 11 a.m. ceremony at the Purchase Post Office, 3003 Purchase Street.
Postmaster Arace manages a dedicated group of 10 employees engaged in providing the residents and businesses in Purchase with the best possible retail and delivery customer experience.
The Purchase postal team serves a population of close to 7,000 and delivers more than 25,000 pieces of mail a day to a total of 1,330 delivery points.

PM Arace began his postal career in 1993 as a Casual employee and Sales and Services Associate at the Purchase Post Office.
Prior to his recent appointment as Postmaster of Purchase, Arace worked as Supervisor Customer Service at the Harrison Post Office, Supervisor Business Mail Entry Unit at the Westchester District, HQ Business Solutions Specialist, Small Business Specialist with the Business Development Team, and has been a Facilitative Instructor for the Westchester District as well as On the Job Instructor for many retail employees.

Arace was also part of a national team to help create and develop a new Retail Academy Exam and to review and critique training materials to be used for the new "pricing by shape" rate structure prior to national deployment in 2006.
Postmaster Arace is currently pursuing his Bachelor’s Degree at Iona College with a degree in Business Administration.
Keith and his wife Elizabeth are residents of West Harrison with their 2 daughters, Camila and Sophia. In his spare time, Keith enjoys spending time with his family, vacationing to new places and photography.
The Postal Service receives no tax dollars for operating expenses and relies on the sale of postage, products and services to fund operations.
