Parkways Open, Ice and Snow-Covered, Treacherous

Snow is covering roads that are already icy, leading to treacherous conditions, reports the Westchester County Department of Public Safety.

The Bronx River, Hutchinson, Saw Mill, Playland and Cross County parkways are open, but snow is now covering the road surfaces, which have been icy since the storm began.

The DOT is treating and plowing.

ALL MOTORIST ARE URGED TO USE EXTREME CAUTION AND AVOID TRAVEL IF POSSIBLE.
