Robert P. Weisz Addresses UJA-Federation Business Group
The CEO of RPW Group, one of the largest commercial real estate developers in Westchester, talks about the industry and philanthropy.
Robert P. Weisz, CEO of the RPW Group, recently spoke to a UJA-Federation of New York gathering of business and professional leaders about the real estate industry and philanthropy. The RPW Group is one of the largest commercial real-estate developers in Westchester County, with more than three million square feet of commercial office space, including 800 Westchester Avenue, 1133 Westchester Avenue, and 440 and 450 Mamaroneck Avenue.
The event took place at the division’s Spring Breakfast on Wednesday, March 16, 2016, at Old Oaks Country Club in Purchase. The morning attracted more than 150 guests, who came to hear from Weisz, who has been widely recognized for his leadership in the real estate industry and his philanthropic efforts in the community. Born in Montevideo, Uruguay, he began his career in the furniture industry as a wholesaler with national distribution.
The gathering also heard from Ann K. Silver of White Plains and Roy Stillman of Katonah, both of whom served as event chairs and spoke about UJA-Federation’s critical work.

“This is an organization that puts the best people on the front lines of inquiry, to determine both immediate and long-term needs in a comprehensive, data-driven way,” Silver said. “And then, understanding the big picture, UJA explores real solutions to real problems.” She continued with three stories that illustrated the type of innovation that provides results that help those in need.
Susan Taxin Baer of Scarsdale and Ben Blumberg of Larchmont serve as chairs of the Westchester Business and Professional Division.
