HARRISON, NY — Data compiler Niche just released its new list, 2019 Best School Districts In America. Harrison was ranked No. 69 in New York state.
To arrive at the rankings, Niche looked at data from the U.S. Department of Education as well as test scores, college data, and ratings collected from Niche users. (You can read more about the methodology here.)
Each district received a letter grade in the following categories: Academics; Diversity; Teachers; College Prep; Clubs & Activities; Health & Safety; Administration; Sports; Food; and Resources & Facilities.

Harrison received an overall grade of A. In fact, it received mostly As except for Bs in administration and diversity.
It was ranked No. 69 among New York's 675 districts and No. 389 out of almost 11,000 school districts in America.
