Traffic Stop on I-287 in Harrison Leads to DWI for Connecticut Man
State police said his BAC was more than two times the legal limit.

HARRISON, NY – A Connecticut man faces a drunk-driving charge and more in New York.
New York State Police said that at 1:41 a.m. Aug. 29, they stopped a vehicle on I-287 for multiple unspecified traffic violations.
The trooper concluded the driver, Luis A. Pozo-Mora, 46, of North Branford, CT, was intoxicated. He was transported and processed at the state police barracks in Tarrytown.

Police allege his blood alcohol content was determined to be 0.18 percent, more than twice the legal limit.

Pozo-Mora was turned over to a sober third party and released on appearance tickets returnable to the Town of Harrison Court on Sept. 20.
