UPDATE: Crash Cleared Merritt Parkway Is Reopened

The northbound Merritt Parkway is closed between Exit 35 (Route 137 - High Ridge Road in Stamford) and Exit 36 (Route 106 in New Canaan) because of a motor vehicle crash involving an overturned motor vehicle, according to the Connecticut Department of Transportation.

The crash was reported about 10:48 a.m. Friday and the DOT couldn’t estimate when the road would be reopened.

Traveling along I-95 isn’t much better as a crash near Exit 10 in Darien has closed two lanes of the highway.
