Wilding Park Swings Get a Paint Job

A new group in Harrison is committed to improving public spaces in town.

Their first project, already underway, is to spruce up Wilding Park,

“iHeartHarrison is a grassroots effort committed to ensuring that the look and feel of the shared spaces in our town matches the spirit of the people who live here, one project at a time, and we couldn’t be more pleased to have the opportunity to be starting with the renovation of Wilding Park,” said Jill Valente, one of the iHeartHarrison co-founders, in a prepared statement.

They’re holding a kick-off event June 7 at the park that will feature family-friendly activities, including the creation of a mural on a park building.
