• Metro-North Begins Work on Hudson Line (highlandscurrent.org) — Major flood-protection work is planned for the Metro-North Hudson Line segment that runs between Spuyten Duyvil and Hastings-on-Hudson, aiming to guard tracks against stormwater and tidal flooding. Funded through the MTA’s 2025–29 capital plan and state budget, the project will stabilize slopes, improve drainage, and reinforce shoreline structures along this heavily used commuter corridor.
