2 Males Burglarized Storage Units, Stole From Stores: Suffolk Police
A man and a teenager each face multiple burglary and grand larceny charges in connection with a string of thefts, police say.
ISLANDIA, NY — Two males were arrested in connection with a burglary and string of grand larcenies after they burglarized storage units in Islandia on Thursday morning, Suffolk police said.
Jonathan Luciano, 33, of Central Islip, and a 17-year-old male burglarized three units at Extra Space Storage, at 1960 Veterans Memorial Highway in Islandia, around 4:15 a.m., police said. Following the burglaries, the two males were arrested, police said. Police did not identify the teenager, as he is a minor.

- Third-degree grand larceny in connection with stealing from Burner King in Ronkonkoma on June 8.
- Third-degree grand larceny in connection with stealing from Licensed to Chill in Ronkonkoma on June 8.
- Third-degree grand larceny in connection with stealing from Energy Wise in Ronkonkoma on June 8.
- Third-degree grand larceny in connection with stealing from Remodel Rob in Ronkonkoma on June 9.
- Third-degree criminal mischief in connection with damaging vehicles at Energy Mechanical in East Farmingdale on June 25.
- Fourth-degree grand larceny and second-degree criminal mischief in connection with damaging vehicles and stealing items from New York Solar in East Farmingdale on June 25.
- Third-degree grand larceny in connection with stealing from Albee Motors in Islip Terrace on June 25.
- Three counts of third-degree burglary in connection with the burglaries of three units at Extra Space Storage in Islandia on June 30.
Luciano is scheduled for arraignment at First District Court in Central Islip on Friday. The 17-year-old is scheduled for arraignment at the Youth Part of First District Court in Central Islip on Friday.
