The chain started as a small shop in Moorestown, N.J. in 1985 and have expanded to over 135 stores along the east coast including one in the Hauppauge Shopping Center between Route 347 and Route 111.

Whether you are looking to learn something new or polish up your existing skills with advice from a professional, A.C. Moore offers in-store classes on weekly basis. It's a great way to get out,  be create and learn something new while having fun. 

This month, February, A.C. Moore continues its Wilton Cake Decorating class series on Tuesday and Thursdays. Aspiring bakers can start from square one with a four-week session Wilton Decorating Basics with Victoria, or focus on Wilton Gum Paste and Fondant lessons in four sessions. Cost is $45 plus cost of material. 

While it's too late to learn how to decorate a cake for your sweetheart in time for Valentine's Day, it gives time to practice before kid's spring and summer parties - or attempting a wedding cake.
